My client is a leading ICT solutions provider in the South that provides consultancy services and value added solutions around Data Centres, Servers, Storage, Virtualisation, Security, Networking, Contact Centres, Unified Comms, Video Conferencing, Cloud Solutions and Managed Services in to public and private sector organisations across the UK.

They hold long established partnerships with some of the industry’s leading technology Vendors including Cisco, NetApp, VMware, Oracle, Juniper, Riverbed and more. Due to continued expansion they are now seeking an experienced Account Manager in the south to join their well established sales team in Surrey.

You will be responsible for delivering incremental growth in revenue through the selling of the company portfolio of solutions in to an existing base of accounts whilst aiming to achieve / exceed monthly revenue based sales targets set out by the Sales Director.

Candidates should have strong fundamental understanding of IT systems and networks along with experience in selling similar products and services from VMware, Cisco, Oracle and NetApp etc.

An experienced, enthusiastic and professional individual is required for this position.

Required Experience –

• At least 5 years Account Management experience within an IT sales environment.
• Have a demonstrable and proven track record of selling consultative technology related solutions including Data Centres, Servers, Storage, Virtualisation, Security, Networking, Contact Centres, Unified Comms, Cloud Solutions and Managed Services.
• Experience of client retention, building strong relationships and growing revenues within an existing base of accounts.
• A strong understanding of VMware, NetApp, Oracle or Cisco is highly desirable.

• Superb customer facing presentation, negotiation and commercial decision making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to present value added solutions at Director and CEO level within multinational organisations and be able to describe their business benefits to not IT literate managers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A proven track record of success, High achievers Club, Merit awards etc

You can expect a salary in the region of £40,000 (dependant on experience) + £80,000 OTE (uncapped) + car/travel allowance + corporate benefits package.
